Have you considered using something like Teamspeak for communication among players and among GMs?
I've used Skype and Teamspeak, and Teamspeak is by far the best - each clan can have their own room and GMs can have their own rooms - all password protected. It's great.

the server has a vent and vent has the same features with better quality.
